File

A single attachment (PDF, supplementary material, image, …) bound to a Reference.

  • content_type
    Type: string

    MIME type of the file.

  • created_at
    Type: integer

    Unix timestamp when the file was uploaded.

  • id
    Type: string

    Unique identifier of the file.

  • md5
    Type: string

    MD5 checksum of the file.

  • name
    Type: string

    Name of the file including extension. Set at upload time via the filename form field; cannot be changed afterwards.

  • primary
    Type: boolean

    Marks this file as the "main PDF" Paperpile uses for reading and annotation.

  • reference
    nullable

    Reference id by default; full Reference object when list({ expand: ['reference'] }) is used; null for an attachment with no associated reference.

  • size
    Type: integer

    File size in bytes.
